Wow January 1, 2007 is here! 2006 was a great year, I hope to make 2007 the best. My goal will be to greatly improve this blog to become something helpful for others. I started it to just log my migraine / headache drama. I've never been very good with website design. I'll find some template and use it I'm sure. Also please post some comments on what you want to see! Along with this goal I have a personal goal of trying to do better planning and not stress so much. Plus in April I get married :).
On to Monday, I woke up at 7 am which is 15 minutes past my weekly work wakeup time. I've said it before if I sleep in more than one hour I get a migraine. I basicly just watched tv and surfed the internet while being extremely sleepy. Later on I washed and waxed my SO's car and then cleaned some in the house and just watched tv all day. Kind of lazy but it was a good day. I didn't have one hint of a migraine so sucess!

The weekend Saturday and Sunday
Saturday morning I did the wrong thing and slept in till 10 am :-/ this started the day with a slow dragging migraine. Took a 50mg Imitrex and migraine was gone in about 30 minutes.
Sunday was a great day, went to my SO' parents house to start the new year, but I end 2007 with another migraine about 10 pm. After taking Imitrex it went away!

Friday turned out to be a busy day in the office. Things wrapped up nicely in the evening. No stress and no headaches! I'm glad the weekend is a long one.

Links to why we all have migraines?
I noticed today while doing my daily Google search on migraines the following article comment.
"Most children with migraines have at least one close family member who also has them. If one of the child’s parents has migraines, the child has a 50 percent chance of also having them. If both parents get them, the child’s risk of also getting them is about 75 percent. According to Fred Freitag, D.O, from the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago"
So this means if I have kids they will have them basicly :-/

Back to work today! Had a great holiday vacation! Today was extremely stressful at work, and busy busy! Worked all day and had a good night at home with no headache!
Tuesday Dec 26!
Day after Christmas, I ate way too much all day long and anything I wanted. Sleep in late and figure I would wake up to a migraine. Usually not following my sleep schedule of the weekday's means I get a migraine. No migraine!

Merry Christmas!
Great day I've not been this excited over Christmas in a long time! Today I woke up not feeling so great, with a feeling of a strong migraine coming so I took one 50 mg imitrex at 7:00 am est! In over 30 minutes the feeling was gone and I didn't get a migraine! Go imitrex!
